John received his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Idaho in the spring of 2010. After graduation, he engaged in a 6-week tour of the United Kingdom’s best examples of sustainable design, including stops throughout England and Wales. While abroad, he completed multiple design courses, workshops and collaborative design projects with local firms, focusing on the implementation of passive design strategies in the modern architectural world. Upon return, his education continued at the Idaho Urban Research & Design Center in Boise, where he earned his Master of Architecture degree in the spring of 2012, focusing on both sustainable building design and urban planning.  He began his professional career at Miller Stauffer Architects in Coeur d’Alene, where he was a part of a variety of projects ranging in size from custom residential design to large-scale public projects around the Inland Northwest. In May of 2015, he joined EH Design as a Project Manager and Intern Architect.  Here he intends to grow within his career as a developing architect in the Pacific Northwest.
